Dublin Airport. The journey from Letterkenny is the longest of the four, typically around 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours, though this can extend during peak traffic periods. Dublin Airport carries the widest range of long haul and transatlantic connections, so it is the most common arrival point for visitors travelling from the United States, Germany, Austria and Japan.

Belfast City Airport - which was called George Best Belfast City Airport, is an international airport in Belfast, Northern Ireland, but on the water in County Down, it is adjacent to the Belfast Harbour and is about three miles from Belfast City Centre. The journey from Letterkenny typically takes around 2 hours.
Both Belfast airports have easy pick up and drop off options, much like Derry Airport and Donegal Airport.

Belfast, Derry and Dublin Airport routes rough guides
Each of the four larger airports has a slightly different profile and it helps to know what to expect before booking.
Belfast International Airport route. This route typically runs around Antrim and Derry or via Omagh and Strabane before crossing into County Donegal. It is a reasonably direct cross border journey, and is commonly used by groups connecting from European and short haul international routes. Cross border transfers between Donegal and Northern Ireland are a routine part of this service. The new road that bypasses Dungiven makes the journey much easier. Allow 90 minutes minimum.
Belfast City Airport route. This route typically runs around North Belfast and Derry or via Omagh and Strabane before crossing into County Donegal. Similar to the International airport route, with an extra 30 or 40 minutes in North Belfast. So it is about 2 hours to Donegal.
City of Derry Airport route. This is the shortest of the three main routes and runs largely along the Letterkenny to Derry road. It works well for early morning or late evening arrivals, since the shorter journey reduces the impact of an early start or a late finish. Allow 1 hour.
Dublin Airport route. This is the longest single route we run, typically following the A6 and M1 or N15 and N3 route south before joining the motorway network into Dublin. Because of the distance, we recommend building in extra time either side of the booked pickup, particularly around bank holiday weekends or during the summer travel peak. Allow 3 hours.

Flight delays and early arrivals. Flights do not always land on schedule you can say that again! We track the relevant flight ahead of pickup and build a reasonable buffer into the planned timing, so a short delay does not automatically mean a missed connection. For longer delays, we ask that you get in touch as soon as the new time is known, check the board, so the pickup can be adjusted.
Luggage and golf bags. Golf groups in particular need confirmed space for clubs as well as cases. Letting us know the number of golf bags and standard cases in advance means the right vehicle, whether that is a minicoach or a full size coach, is confirmed before the day rather than worked out at the airport.
Splitting across multiple flights. Larger groups sometimes arrive on two or more flights, particularly when travelling from different countries. This can be planned around with either a slightly later single pickup once everyone has landed, or two separate pickups feeding into the same onward journey.
